Shemar Moore
Shemar Moore began in the entertainment industry as the character Malcom Winters in CBS’ The Young and the Restless, which he maintained his role for eight years. In part with his acting career, Shemar also held the position of the host on the syndicated version of Soul Train from 1999-2003. In 2001 Moore was featured in the film The Brothers, alongside other talents such as Morris Chesnutt, Billy Bellamy, and D.L. Hughley. Shemar continued to be featured on the big screen throughout his career including, Tyler Perry’s film Diary of a Mad Black Woman and the popular television series Birds of Prey.
Later in his career, Shemar joined the cast of Criminal Minds where he fortified his role of Derek Morgan. Along with his fruitful acting career, Shemar Moore is also signed as a model to D.N.A Model Management and has been featured in magazines such as Men’s Fitness magazine. More recently Shemar Moore has been working on a new project which is CBS’s new show S.W.A.T, in which Moore is the star.
