Donnell Rawlings
Donnell got his beginnings in DC comedy clubs and began to make a name for himself in the entertainment industry. Donnell Rawlings is a comedic talent who has been most notably recognized from his appearances on the Dave Chappelle Show, and also served as a host during its third season. In 2010, Rawlings’ hour long stand-up Ashy to Classy was featured on Comedy Central, which features Donnell’s infamous character “Ashy Larry”.
Rawlings has also been seen in a number of shows, playing recurring roles on MTV’s Guy Code, as well as MTV’s Guys Court, and E’s Chelsey Lately. In addition, to his comedic talents during stand-up comedy on television, Donnell also was a co-host on New York’s, Power 105’s morning show “Egypt and Ashy in the Mornings” and WPGC’s “The Bigger Tigger Morning Show” in Washington.
Rawlings also boast the ability to speak a bit broken Korean, citing his experience in the Air Force as the factor that lead to him learning. Along with is comedic influence on the entertainment industry, Rawlings can also be seen as an actor on hit shows such as HBO’s The Wire and Law and Order: Special Victims Unit.
More recently Rawlings can be seen on Netflix’s show The Degenerates which features other upcoming comedians. Currently in part with his stand up and other ventures, Donnell is working on his podcast The Donnell Rawlings Show and has been featured on other popular shows such as The Breakfast Club and The Joe Rogan Experience.
